About us
At The Crafty Butterfly, we understand the importance of cherished memories and the desire to hold onto them forever. Our founder, Nicola, had this same desire when her nana passed away from breast cancer in 2013. With a small inheritance from her nana, Nicola invested in a sewing machine and taught herself how to use it. She immediately began creating memory bears as a way to hold onto the precious memories of her nana.
Although her full-time job and two children put her business idea on hold, Nicola's passion for creating memory bears never wavered. With the birth of her third child, Louis, in 2016, Nicola decided it was time to bring her business idea to life once again. And thus, our company was born.
With Nicola's dedication and passion for creating keepsakes, we strive to provide our customers with unique and meaningful memory bears that will be treasured for years to come.
